labor questions

I'm 39+1 weeks. I hear so many people tell me contractions are different for everyone, but I'm wondering if anyone that gets them frequently has them feeling like they're constipated. Sorry I know its gross lol but my lower back hurts and my stomach is feeling like I need to go #2

You might want to confirm with your Dr but mine said it was fine to but bengay (sp) or muscle rub to ease the back pain with labor.

Thank you two so much! He hasn't dropped yet so that deff makes sense. Thank goodness he's getting prepared. My right ribs are bruised:/ I have a feeling I'll have back labor. Thatsn where a lot of the lil cramps starts. Not painful yet tho. I have an appt thursday as well, I know he's head down so when I see those weird movements on my belly it looks like he's shaking his booty lol

I had that same feeling on Sunday. I called my mom and was freaking out. My mom said that it was a contraction and that my baby was making her way down to come out. I have an appointment on Thursday and I'm going to.ask my ob if that's what they are. But sometimes I feel like my belly is doing the wave and my ob said that the wave is also contractions.

I had mostly back labor and they felt like cramps some women say it's the worst pain but not for me. And maybe the constipation feeling is baby moving down. I know when I was in labor it felt like a lot of pressure.
