Back sleeping

I have read that you aren't supposed to sleep on your back while pregnant, but I can't get comfortable any other way. I normally am a stomach sleeper but I obviously can't do that since my belly gets in the way. I try side sleeping but I can only do that for so long, my back is the only comfortable position. Any other mommies slept on there back while pregnant?

Try sleeping in a recliner. As long as you are propped up, it should be ok, but don't quote me on that. I'm not a doc. I delieverd a month ago and side sleeping nearly killed my thighs when I was pregnant. So I either slept in a recliner or propped several pillows up in the bed so I'm laying at an angle. Hope this helps. But like I said in not a doc. Its just what helped me.

Been wondering this myself.  I'll be thirty weeks tomorrow and have noticed I'll wake up on my back even tho I fall asleep on my right or left side.
