membrane stripping at 37 weeks???

Did any other ladies have this done at 37 weeks and did it work??? What all happened if it did work for you???

I had it done around 10am and went into labor around 4pm

I did. My doctor told me that it works for some and some it doesnt. She did mines at my 8am appt. She told me to go up the street to the mall and walk around. I walked around with all the old folks. Nothing happen, so I went home. I cleaned up a little, and had our bags by the door. After showering and sitting down at 8pm, I started having contractions.I haf my son the next day at 3pm.

Ive had it done. Didnt go into labor till almost 3 weeks later
