I always took baths with all 4 of my pregnancies. Its very relaxing and all my babies are fine.

The only reason they would say be careful or not so close to your due date is in case your water breaks while in the bath because then you won't notice. Its perfectly safe just make sure you pay attention to your body and the amount of time you are in there

Then where the heck is my labor??! Lol I take a hot bath every day.. Sometimes 2! And here I am, 39 weeks.. Dialated, thinned plenty, the whole 9 yards.. And I'm still obviously very pregnant.

That's an old wives tale. I was told the same Lol it's ridiculous. As far as the temperature, I've always taken hot showers or baths simply because I can tolerate it, I have thick skin apparently. baths are fine. They really help in any pains you're having. Go for it! I go all out, candles and snacks, music, the whole nine yards lol:)

Warm baths are safe. If you are ALREADY dilating it can help you dilate  more.
The water temperature should never exceed your normal body temperature

At the end of my pregnancy my doctor suggested it to help with the pain.. I've always been told it's fine as long as it's not too hot
