Bed rest

Hey ladies. I'm 31 weeks and have been placed on strict bed rest. I'm only suppose to get up to shower and use the restroom. I've been on bed rest for 3 days now and I'm literally going crazy. I'm the kind of person that has to be up on my feet moving, cleaning, or just doing something. For ladies that have been on bed rest what kept you girl occupied and helped get you through the day? Oh I know!! I get so restless and upset with watching tv. I can't consentrate . I have my good days and bad days though, and I hope baby stays in the oven for as long as possible for you :-)

Read, write letters to baby, make lists of things you still need, look up research on newborns and toddlers... Good luck

I'm 31 weeks also and on strict bed rest I clean still though and I also have two kids to take care of so being on strict bed rest is hard for me but when I feel tired I sit down for a little bit.

Joanie8858 I'm on bed rest because I've been having contractions and I'm high risk for going into premature labor so my doctor is trying to at least get me to 36 weeks. It's so hard, after awhile watching tv just gets so boring and I don't really have friends on this Forum to talk to so my day just drags on. Lol

Im on bed rest too and just knowing you HAVE to be resting ***** lol I get so antsy. I just try and get into movies or a book, its hard though but I just keep thinking I need to take advantage of this rest time. I wish you luck, why are you on bed rest if you dont mind me asking?

I've been on bedrest for most of this pregnancy (only 18days til my csection, yay!) and I've been watching a lot of tv, movies, sleeping, reading this forum, facebook, reading books, made some handmade things for baby's room, and am now doing my Christmss shopping online.
