Belly ring

I'm 9 weeks and 4 days when should I take off my belly ring ? Do I have to ?

I took mine out straight away bcoz my friend left hers in and got a big stretch mark from it. Everyones body is different tho

You don't have too I took mine out at 16 weeks bc I had to get a lot of sonograms and it was in the way as ur belly stretches the piercing does too it looks weird I took mine out I'm 39 weeks and I couldn't imagine still having it in they do have maternity ones

I have a belly ring as well. My doctor told me that you don't need to take off your belly ring unless it becomes uncomfortable. I have a metal long swirly one. but if it does become uncomfortable they do have rubber pregnancy belly rings.

Ok yes then to be on the safe side ill take it off and replace it with a rubber one. It is not discomfort to me as of yet but scared it will get caught on something and rip my skin since I am a lit blotted I should say or maybe it a small hump from baby not sure I'm a ftm don't know if it's to soon to show but I do hVe a lil hump

Your 9 weeks, I am going to be 10 weeks here shortly. I have a small bump like look. But I think I am just bloated. Your baby is still too small and your uterus is not big enough to make it a bump. But on the other hand if you have any other children it could indeed be a bump. Every person is different.

belly rings.. I'm 26 weeks nd havnt taking mine out yet..

Yes I believe it's bloating as well. Too early to be showing at least I believe and no I have no kids for a few months I was drinking insures and instead of gaining weight like I wanted I gained a belly which was gross and that belly just sits there now :(

Lol Don't worry. That's why we can blame it on the baby bump. I have a very bloated belly, but when I wear a tight shirt it looks like a baby bump. I just say it is, I mean eventually there is going to be one, no one will really know the difference.

Lol ur right. Haha. Well maybe that'll be my excuse soon. Another question when u start to show is ur belly soft or does it start to harden ?

Mine is soft but has a hard spot. I think the hard spot i have on my belly is acutally where the baby is. Eventually your entire belly will be hard as it grows bigger.

Ok. Cool. I learn something new everyday. Just when that time comes If it's true that stretch marks r passed down. My mom weighed less then me and after having her 1st her tummy was full of stretch marks that never were able to disappear

Um not sure when it comes to the stretch marks. I do know from research that if you start to apply lotion early on, i mean even now .your belly stretches easier. which will cause stretch marks to either be light or not come at all. I am sure its different based on each person. My mother, sister never had any. So I am not sure. Stretch marks are caused by your skin cells tearing from the weight gain, or in our case our babies so if you keep your skin moisturized your skin is more flexible with the baby bump growing.
