spotting yesterday ultrasound tomorrow

I am praying now so I am able to keep my baby.  I had some shooting pains on the side yesterday that lasts three seconds goes away for three seconds and comes back.  I saw some brown spots twice in my liner yesterday afternoon that prompted me to call the OB, she told me to rest for now and then she got me and early ultrasound I will be 6weeks 4days tomorrow and I am hoping and praying to see a life in there to calm me down

I am not experiencing pains anymore and the spotting subsided.  I am thankfull that it stoped and my boss was understanding with all of these.  I hope it's not too early for an ultrasound.  Praying to see a heartbeat

Hey don't stress yet.  I have spotted since day one.  It's actually good that it's brown spots which means old blood so it is a good chance that everything is fine.  I am now 27 weeks and I am STILL spotting.  Some women are just unlucky and it happens sometimes for a reason and sometimes they have no idea why.  So, hang in there, go to your ultrasound and hopefully you will get to see the heartbeat.  If you don't, do NOT freak out, at 6 weeks sometimes it is hard to see anything, your baby doesn't need you to stress.  Stressing is the worst thing you can do.  So, think happy thoughts, take a bath, read a book, just relax, that is the best thing you can do right now.  Good luck and let us know how it goes.  We'll be praying for you.

It is not too early for an ultrasound. I had the same thing, spotting, and because I m/c my last, they got me in for an ultrasound at 6 weeks and I was able to see the heartbeat flicker on the screen. If you are as far along as you think and you did no ovulate late there is a good chance you will see something.

Good luck!

Think positive.  The odds are against me with 30% vanishing twin but I always think positive and say, that means there is a 60% chance things are fine.  I do accounting so I always think of numbers.  Anyway, my mom had spotting and was on bedrest her second month for 3 weeks with me.  All was fine, obviously because I am here!!  She had a friend who still had her monthly periods until her 8th month!!!  Stay away from stress, rent a good movie and put your feet up, drink lots of fluids.  I had my first U/S on July 15th, that was exactly 6 weeks.  I didn't see much but a black spot but the doctor pointed out the cardiac activity and he seemed to think everything was fine.  Basically, they are just looking for structrures, the presence of a yolk sack, the heartbeat and all that.  Don't worry about it being too early.  I strongly think you will be OK, just think that you worked so hard to get here, God is watching out for you...stay in control of your state of mind, it is a powerful thing.  On a funnier side, I have had bad gas, you know what, it could have just been a gas bubble.  The us will confirm for you, grow bean grow.

Spotting doesn't always mean you are in the danger zone,it can mean you need to take it easy, you are still in the early developing stages. I wish you a great pregnancy!!! TAKE IT EASY GIRL !!!!
