subchroinic bleed

Okay on Sat. I got married during the whole thing I had a little brown blood, i just sumed it up to old blood and when to my honeymoon (with my children). We did not have sex at all. Sun I was standing there and had a huge gush of blood, it felt like my water broke but not as intence. I was for sure that i lost another baby. We found the ER there and the doctor did a u/s and said baby was measuring 10w 4d which was right on track. and told me I had a small subchroinic bleed. I just want to know what that means and how much is it going to effect this pregnancy?? basically am I going to loss my baby again?

I wouldn't worry too much about it (I know easier said than done right). I had a rather large subchorionic hematoma with my last pregnancy that caused me to bleed worse than a period almost every day for 5 weeks. It is an extremely common reason for bleeding in the first trimester without meaning a miscarriage. My doctor told me that he had never not seen one resolve on its own by the 20th week and you are already in the 10th week which means the chance of miscarriage as it is, is very small. Needless to say my daughter is now 2 1/2 and as healthy as can be. I know its scary to bleed after having had a miscarriage but I have a feeling you'll be holding your little one in 30 weeks! :)
