3rd pregnancy

My wife recently found out that she is pregnant with our third child. She is about six weeks along, and our second child is only 11 months old. What are the main concerns we should have for this pregnancy? She has also said that she is worried because she only has some of the symptoms of pregnancy, and with our first two she had more. Should we be concerned about this?

as far as the concerns I am not sure. Some of  the other women on here may know. But I am pregnant with my 3rd baby as well and I didnt really have any symptoms that I had with my other pregnancies... Now I dont really have any at all but I heard the hearbeat on thursday so I am positive my baby is ok. My doctor says that every pregnancy is different.... I am sure your wife and baby will be ok!

There's no need for concern b/c she is not having all of the symptoms that she had with the other pregnancies.....All pregnancies are different, so I would not be concerned about that.  Most Dr.'s tell you to wait a year before trying again, but there are tons of people to become pregnant again quickly after giving birth and have healthy babies.....I wouldn't say that her risk is any higher than that of a women who waited 2 years...Best wishes.

congratulations on your baby!!!!!  i had 2 pregnancies and they were totaly different... so yes every pregnancy doesnt have to be followed with preggo symptoms.... or with many preggo symptoms

I don't think she has anything to worry about. Tell her to enjoy not having all the symptoms and to enjoy this pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different. Goodluck and Congrats!!

with my first i was so sick lost 22 lbs. with my second ate like a horse never got sick. they can be totally different. hope you all the best!

Having the babies close in age will not be a problem for the most part. If your wife has medical conditions or health issues, that's another story. But if she's a healthy woman, I wouldn't be concerned!!! I know a woman who had a 15 month old daughter, a newborn (maybe 2 months old) daughter, and found out she was pregnant again.

These things happen! Her lack of familiar symptoms shouldn't be a worry either. As everyone else said, every pregnancy is different, just as every baby is different! CONGRATS!
