Brown Discharge

Ok so i was dx with a subchorionic hemmorhage last tues during a u/s, was also told that i was 4wks 5days instead of 7wks. Got blood work done that day and rescheduled another u/s for this coming tues. I also went in last Thur for more labs drawn. Dr called yesterday and said that my level was fourthousand and something..i cant remember exact number because i was half sleep when they called me. But it was like 4,500 or more or so? Anyway she told me it was good and they didnt get the results back from Thursdays to compare but would call me when they did. Now my thing is today i had some brownish on my t.p. when i wiped (sorry if tmi) is this normal, should i worry or call my dr. Or is this possibly the hemmorhage passing? Like i said i have a u/s Tues should i just wait till then and mention this? Has anyone experienced what i'm going through, thanks for reading and any info in advance.:0)

As long as the discharge is brown it should be ok.  You need to start to worry if the bleeding gets heavy, red, or you have severe cramping.  Brown blood normally means old blood but since you were diagnosed with the hemmorhage I would just call your doctor for re-assurance.  Good luck.

Its common to bled with a subchorionic hematoma. I had one my last pregnancy and bled bright red and worse than a period from weeks 5-10 of my pregnancy and now have a healthy 2 1/2 year old to show for it. But to be on the safe side still call your doctor. Maybe they can give you another ultrasound to help reassure you that there is growth.

Sounds like the hem is passing some. Brown blood is old blood and you shouldn't worry unless it turns red and there is a ton of it. If you have another u/s scheduled keep the appointment and see how things go for you! Good luck!
