CVS is invasive.  1st trimester fluid collections at the baby's neck can be cystic hygromas and be associated with Turners syndrome, a chromosome problem related to the sex chromosomes. Turners is a monosomy, not a trisomy, I believe. Hoping for you.

CVS can be invasive. Most docs prefer to do the Panorama blood test now. It is more accurate and tests for several other things as well. The test can also be called Harmony. It is a free cell DNA test. Good luck to you!

I'm sorry. A 'cystic hygroma"?  Ask about this blood test.....cell free fetal DNA.

Do you mind if I ask why you are inquiring about CVS?  Does something put you at high-risk for chromosomal abnormality?
