Buy the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility."  It will teach you how to take your temp. every morning to determine what time of the month you are ovulating (not everyone ovulates on the 14th day of their cycle)  and to make sure your luteal phase is long enough to support a potential pregnancy (must be at least 10-11 days..but closer to 14 is best).  You can also try ovulation predictor kits.

I'd also suggest taking a b-complex..as sometimes birth control pills can cause a vitamin b deficiency.  Co-enzyme q-10 is also great for egg quality as is royal jelly.  And don't forget a good prenatal!

I know it's so hard not to be anxious..it has taken us about a year because my cycles were so messed up but I got that book and took the vitamins and did acupuncture and all of it helped.  Like a previous poster said..it takes most couples between 6-12 months.  But, seriously, the best thing you can do is to figure out your cycles if you haven't already.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Three months is a really short time to be trying.  After I was on the pill for 6 years, it took us 8 months to get pregnant.  On average, 50% of people will take 6 months and by 12 months, I think it's 75-85% of people get pregnant.  Just relax and get on prenatal vitamins now.  Also, look up foods that increase fertility, like sweet potatoes, avocados, I think, certain teas maybe.  I ate some of that to make me think I was more fertile...lol...it eventually worked. :-)  Best of luck to you!

It could be a number of things hon. It could be that your body is still trying to get rid of the hormones from the birth control pill since you've been on it for so long.  Secondly it could be there is something else going on. My guess is the hormones are trying to get back to normal. Use this website to track your period and it will also tell you when you ovulate. But remember DO NOT have sex every day your ovulating, try every other day.
my monthly cycles.com ... Just put it all together.. LOL.. And relax.. The more you stress yourself about trying to get pregnant, the less chance you have of it happening because your stressing yourself and releasing hormones in your body that can prevent pregnancy. Feel free to message me.

Take some gerotol or prenatal vitimans. Vitimans do help. My 4year old is a getotol baby. I took the pills with him. I am now 5months pregnant and I was taking my prenatal vitimans from a previous miscarriage. Good Luck!!!
