Your instinct will kick in trust me. You can always try looking into classes that will help you.
Being a mom is instinctive (I know you've heard that before). If you've been anywhere near kids or you've changed a diaper one time, you've got it. It's pretty self explanatory and there isn't much to know. Everything extra you hear is only tricks to make it easier after the fact. I've raised 13 kids (not my own if course) and this is my first baby and it makes me feel better when it read magazines and articles non stop. Try going to babble.com and looking at the pregnancy section. Makes me feel so much more confident. The website is articles from parents talking about being parents but better than blogs or articles. It's like a mixture of the two.
What they said! Im a ftm and Ive been taking care of my younger siblings, younger cousins, nieces..etc but I still wanna take a class. Just to have a piece of mind knowing that I did everything to prepare. Good luck! X
I found taking care of my own baby much easier than taking care of others. Babies just want their mom so just being there or having them in a carrier will calm them a lot. As for diapers, you change a ton in the early days and you'll get lots of practice. :)
Thank you guys so much I feel a ton better all a mother wants is the best for her child and I just want to make sure everything is right . I will look in to taking classes :) you are all awesome
