12 week sharp pains?

Im having sharp sharp pains right where  the baby is. They take my breathe away and i have to lay down to deal with them? Is this my body stretching for my growing baby or is it something else? I am not bleeding. Ive called my doctor im waiting for a call back but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Thank you ladies! Im taking a warm bath and i havent had the pains since 30 mins ago, i figured it could be my body stretching but i just wanted to be safe.

I jus experienced the samething right now it scared me bc I never felt that but I'm really consctipated and have stomach pains bc I can't go and now I had that same pain ur saying

Ligament pain. It can be very uncomfortable. I am 37+5 weeks and I still get them.

Yes when I went into the e.r with that they called it Ligament pain. Everything is stretching it was a lil unnameable for me and bazaar Because I didn't have it with my first but they say every pregnancy is different. Hope that's what it is and you and your baby are healthy!
