Chances of being pregnant..

I had sex with my husband on the 22, 23, 28, 30 and 31st of January (2011). I am on Junel Fe 1.5/30 birth control pills and have been on them for about 3 or 4 months now. I forgot to take my pills on the 30th and 31st and according to the ovulation calender I was fertile and ovulated the 24-29th of jan. My husband and I had unprotected sex (other than when i remembered to take my pill). I have had  brown spotting and nauseas for a couple days.  I did take a hcg test this morning and it was negative, but after I read more it was probably a little too early to test where my period isn't due until Sunday or Monday next week. Is that more likely to be from the birth control or being pregnant? Thank you =)

You can get pregnant even while taking birth control. It is not 100% effective at preventing pregnancy. You can take a pregnancy test on Valentine's Day (what a fun day to take one!) and see what it says.
