OPINIONS PLEASE !!!
so ... I'm really curious to know what color eyes my son will have.
YES I know babies usually come out with blue or gray eyes till about 3 months.
And YES IM VERY AWARE THAT NO ONE CAN GIVE ME A CORRECT ANSWER, this is pretty much all for fun.(;
My boyfriend has blue eyes. Both his parents have colored eyes. My mom has green eyes. Two of my brothers have hazel eyes. Me and one of my other brothers came out with brown eyes!
I'm curious to know everyone's opinions or input. Maybe even some of your stories?!
Or even if someone knows how those genetics work!

Marriedmommyof2 lol wow that's pretty crazy, so do you have dark colored eyes as well? And that's so random that your daughter looks more white I always felt as if the Asian gene is so much more dominant. Your daughter sounds beautiful :)
That is really tough to say. I am half asian so half of my family has virtually black eyes. Lol my dads side all have blue. I have hazel eyes. My husband has very light blue. Our baby was born with bluish grey eyes but they kept getting lighter and lighter. She is almost a year old and there is no denying she has her daddy's light blue. (You can't tell she has any asian at all. Very white baby. Lol)
never know, my family has blue eyes i have green, my husbands family have brown eyes his dad has green my husband has brown, our son has extremely light blue eyes, our daughter has hazel brown eyes and we are having another. i get my eyes from my grandma bec she has green allher kids have blue or brown. my dads side everyone has blue.
I'm excited too know what my little ones eye colour is going too be as my mother has blue eyes same as myself and my siblings yet my father has brown eyes, my partner has brown eyes and his mother has brown but his father has blue, had a 4d scan done and it looks like I have the dominant facial features just intrigued too see if I have dominant eye colour aswell xx
I believe green eyes are a mutation of the gene and I don't believe you can pass that on but j could be wrong and honestly, I have hazel eyes and my boyfriend has blue eyes but his dad has blue eyes and my grandpa has blue eyes and my son actually has blue eyes! The same thing happened to my little cousin too! Both of his parents have brown eyes but he has blue!
My mom has green n my grandma has blue both me n my bf have dark brown but I'm hoping my baby gets color eyes !
Tay! I can't wait to find out and babies have gray to blue eyes at first because their eyes are still adjusting to color so gotta wait even longer ahahaha !!

Breonna, once you find out the gender things will go by quicker then you can finally shop and start planning a baby shower and such! I wanted a girl soooo bad and everyone was like you're gonna have a boy and sure enough it was a boy ;) lol I'm actually really happy my baby is a boy even though girls are more fun to shop for!
Lol its driving me nuts too because my mom, my bf, both his parents, his other two kids, my sister, and my bfs brothers and their kids all have blue eyes but i have brown and so does my dad and grandma lol
Given that you have brown but others in your family have light eyes, that tells us you have one dominant and one recessive trait. Your boyfriend has entirely recessive.
Based on a Punnet square you would have 50/50 chance of light vs dark. The only tricky part is that green is dominant to blue so I would say you're most looking at green to hazel.

Yeah everyone says that but something must be wrong with me because it isn't happening lol. Ill be 12 weeks tomorrow and i had a ultrasound at 11 weeks but its way to early. I was schedule to come in 14 weeks to see but since my doctor loves vacations smh I'll go in at 13 weeks. So hopefully the good news will say its a girl lol
Awww I'm sure you've heard this before but it'll honestly FLY by! I feel like I just found out yesterday now the days feel so slow for me. I'm sooo uncomfortable can barley sleep my ribs are sore from getting kicked so hard (sorry totally venting lol :((( ) do you know what you're having yet?
Yeah I have brown eyes sometimes they'll get light in the son but for the most part just brown :/ I hate it! I'm really hoping he has hazel or blue eyes :) ahh I wish August would hurry!!!
Aww lol yeah hopefully my baby grt pretty eyes. I wish i did lol.. And the hair i would prefer minr which is dark brown brcuase my husband hair well his while hair is a mix of red, blonde and brown so no lol thats to much going on.. But i would takr hazel eyes or any color over dark brown..
Breonna, my mom is white and Native American. Blonde hair green eyes most of her family has green or hazel eyes with blonde or light brown hair.. My stepdad is black and my little brother came out with hazel honey brown eyes! He's a light caramel complexion and has light brown curly curly hair lol. He's 16 now but I read his year book and some little girl wrote "you really do look like Blake griffin" (the basketball player) literally died of laughter ahah ahaha was so cute
Omh I'm curious to my husband is white, German, Irish and his whole family have blue eyes but my husband eyes changed from really light blue to like a ocean blues at night if that makes sense lol. I'm Black and and my family have dark brown eyes so hopefully my baby gets his eyes:)
Sgulia your son sounds so handsome <3 def the best of both worlds! My little brother has a different dad my mom blonde hair green eyes and my stepdad is black but he came out a caramel complexion curly light brown hair and hazel eyes! I'm so jealous of his eyes lol he got the lightest ones!
