After 37 weeks they should start checking your cervix
Ok, thanks. I was just wondering. I have never felt comfortable with my doctors. I live in a really small area and there are only two prenatal care providers in my area. I chose the lesser of two evils. So I have a hard time calling or asking things even as simple and natural as when and if they check your cervix.
Actually they do test at birth you just don't know it I had my baby on the 8th and they tested without me knowing they were going to check for drugs which I don't care cause I don't drink more do drugs or smoke
Alcohol is legal there too, but if your baby is born drunk you will have some 'splainin to do.
Ask your Dr. Although it is legal in the state it is still illegal on a federal level.
Just because the state says its legal the federal government does not and with cps being ran by the federal government then yes you could still have to deal with them....your best bet is to just wait its not that long and not that big of a deal to not smoke till after the baby is here then upu can go back to smoking all you want
Well cps is a government organization right? If so it is still illegal under federal law so its possible to still get into trouble. Like other posters i would ask your doctor. Or go to one who will recommend it for your pregnancy.
I would ask my doctor if I lived there. If it was legal here I would definitely consider it to help me relax every couple of nights! :) no way to know for sure unless you ask your doctor. Since it legal recreationally in CO and WA, then they won't send CPS after you for just asking.
I'm sure your doctor would know. :) Just call and ask!
And see, you would like to think so. But at the
same point I had a few friends and step sisters who smoked their whole pregnancy and nothing ever happened. Like, anything. Im not sure if Colorado even tests..
I'm thinking unless you have a card to smoke it, and the test is positive then u can get involved with cps
