Contractions

I know contractions are different for everyone, but what are you ladies' experience with them? How did you know what you were feeling were contractions?  How did they feel to you?

You'll know when you're having contractions! Lol There not something you can just miss n baby will be born on the kitchen floor, if it was that easy everyone would be having baby's like there's no tomorrow :)

Main reason I ask is so that I can keep an open mind about what contractions could feel like. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and expect to have to be induced,  but I also don't want to have this baby on the kitchen floor because I didn't recognize contractions.

Mine start in my back and work around the front. It sorta feels like severe poop cramps.. or for me it did. (Sorry if tmi)

(For me) Its like cramps.. everyone's pain tolerance is different. I don't think labor, nor cramps are as bad as a lot of women make it seem
