Maybe its time for a career change
Wow ladies she didn't ask about her career. I got stretch marks with my daughter they looked pretty awful at first but she is about to be 4m old and they have faded a ton and mederma stretch mark cream works fantastic its a little pricey tho.
Its not a career its a hobby, i have a pole in my basement, its for fun and fitness. My friends come over or i go to their place and we all work on new moves together.
Ive been wanting to do competitions, but i most likely wont now that i have stretch marks, its something i love but i just dont feel ill be as confident
Or own your marks. You are creating a child and that is a miracle. Your marks are proof. Keep taking care of the stretch marks, if your just using your vitamin e oil only use that. Dont mix different lotions or oils. Always use it right out of the shower when all your pores are open. Also if you can, warm it slightly. Put it next to a heater, its better absorbed when warm. STAY HYDRATED. Try drinking lemon water often its great for your skin too. All these things WILL help your stretch marks.
Kat von D make up is a good cover up. Just use it when your going to dance
I had stretch marks before getting pregnant, just from weight gain/loss, I didn't care if people stared when I wore a bikini and still don't care. You're given one body, love it no matter how it looks :) I'm sure you look great :)
Lots of dancers have marks, it just means you are tiny and grew a little. Your body goes back down and the marks will fade as long as you keep a good fitness regimen.
Stretch marks are nothing to look down on. My bf likes mine he lives natural women and what our bodies do. Stretch marks(from having babies) is something to look at not as ugly or gross but as being strong they're like battle scars and you should embrace them. I have them from my first and now my second but my body is the way it is because I created life which makes my body amazing. I still wear a two piece bathing suit and everything. You have a womans body now enjoy it.
I didn't mean that stretch marks from being over weight is gross I just mean that getting them from creating life makes them more bad*ss I had some on my thighs from having big thighs.
I've used mederma before on surgery scars etc. And it worked great. I plan on trying it on the stretch marks after pregnancy. I would imagine that if it will fade surgical scars it should work really well on the stretch marks. :) I'm sure everything will bounce back after the baby. I've always been told it depends on you. Determination is everything. Lol
U will be fine. Mine are not bad most say they can't see them but I do. I try to stay fit and I've noticed when I have a tan they are not visable at all. Good luck
Yea I'll ask my bf all the timr abput stretch marks he said they never made him feel like a woman was more or less desirable... so i dont think they will effect the appealing desire u have needed for ur job, ive seen dancer w. Sm and they get better n lighten up after u have the baby n e way they might not b as bad as u think..
Thanks, im hoping that once i get back in shape they wont be as noticable.
I tried everything to keep from getting stretch marks with my first but they came and all at once it seemed like. I gained so much weight that I got stretch marks on other parts of my body and not just my belly. I'm more comfortable with belly now but the stretch marks on the rest of my body make me feel really insecure. The marks on your belly will fade and honestly of its just pole dancing in a private home with personal friends then continue to do your thing, it's not like your living hood depends on it. It will help your muscles get back to where they need to be and as long as you feel good about yourself your worries about that will go away over time.
