Could I be pregnant

I had unprotected sex with my hubby. I was suppose to have my cycle on aug 15th. And i have not had one yet. I am regular too. I have been have discharge and nasueous for a week or 2 and starting to have to use the bathroom more and also a few more cravings and not likeing things that I use to like. I have taken a pregnancy test and it came back negative. But I did not use the first morning one when I tested. Due to the hubby was wondering. We already have a 1 1/2 year old daughter and was wanting to expand our family. He is also a twin. He was talking to a unit clerk at his work and she said that she didnt get a postive result till was already 2 months. Im starting to get worried if I am or not.

I understand how you feel. I went through the same thing with my second daughter my urine test weren"t  coming back positive when i found out i was pregnant i was already 3 months and thats because they dida ultra sound. right now i am 12 days late and 2 prregnancy test and both negative. so i hope you are. wait alittle bit and then go see the doc.

Hi hun, worrying is bad for you, so try not to do it :) it sounds to me like you most likely are pregnant and it is quite common for pregnancy tests not to show up till a litte later especially if you didnt use the first morning urine, I would leave it a few days to a week after you tested last use the first urine and test again if it is still negative and you still don't have your period and they are usually regular I would speak to your doctor and they can do a Serum HCG test (blood test) which are much more acurate and will be able to tel you if you are indeed pregnant or not, I hope that helps a little. good luck to you and I hope all goes well :)

Ok thank you. I will probably be doing that in the next few days. I took another one and it was negative again.

You can take another test, it shouldn't matter first morning urine now, they usually say that if you're testing before your missed period, but it is the most concentrated, and would have the highest amount of HCG (pregnancy hormone) in it. I would take another test, and if it's negative then set up an appointment with your dr.
