Bleeding ... Again (Possible TMI Alert)

Last month I had a bit of a scare when I wiped and there was blood on the t.p.  After getting in to see the doctor, we found out the bleeding was coming from the outside of my cervix.  They did an ultrasound just to make sure Jaiden was doing fine.  The nurse practitioner and doctor decided it was just sensitive and was probably caused by the sex hubby and I had a few days prior.  

Well, I've had a good amount of sex since then, and haven't had a recurrence with bleeding until about 30 minutes ago.  This time, however, I was bleeding enough that it was in the toilet, and when I wiped it was bright red blood mixed with my overabundance of CM.  

I'm not (too) concerned about Jaiden, because as I type this he's shoving his feet up into my ribs.  I don't know if perhaps what I experienced was 'bloody show' or not ...and I haven't been contracting and I'm not in any pain.  So it could just be my cervix being fiesty again.  

I have a Dr's Appt tomorrow afternoon, but I don't know if I should just wait for that or call my Dr's after-hours line.  Since I'm not having any other pains and I'm feeling the baby move, I'm thinking of just waiting ...especially since my car's dead anyway and DH is at school with his work van.

What do you ladies think?

I actually just had to go to the hospital last night for cramping, BH and blood in my urine.  After checking to see if I was in pre-term labor and monioring me, I was having contractions (though not consisten) and cramping still so they gave me a shot to stop them.  The pre-term labor test (FFN) came back negative.  So they put a cathader in me to check my urine and it turns out I have a urinary tract infection.  The risks if not treated are pre-term labor.  They whole time my baby was more active then she ever has been, so I was more worried about going into labor.  Im only 27 1/2 weeks.  I didn't have bloody CM, but I think if I were in your position I would call the aftr hours doc.  I know that I probably woulnd't have done anything if I hadn't seen blood, but I also was having BH and had like 3 BH in 25 minutes.  They told me to go right in.  My advice would be to get checked out or call the doc to see what they say.

lol..sounds like your mucous plug.  It can come out in chunks, little pieces, or as a whole.  I think you may be having bh contractions,  my doctor had told me that with those, your stomach may not tighten, but labor contractions tighten your stomach!  

Kind of sounds like your body is getting ready!!  This will happen the next few weeks.  And he'll probably start to drop in the next few weeks as well!  Which is cool!  I forgot you were so close hehehe!  YAY!

Okay ...just to give you a complete description (sorry for the TMI, but it will help, I guess! lol) ...

For the my entire pregnancy, I've had lots of CM ...now, this is nothing new ...however, in the past few days, there have been little 'chunks' of whitish goo mixed in with my clear slime.  lol  Like you said, it looks like gooey egg whites in small pieces.  So maybe it *is* my plug coming out in pieces.  *shrugs*

Since last night I've been having some crampy pains in my upper abdomen.  I, of course, have no idea what BH or contractions feel like, but my stomach is not hardening up or anything, so I keep telling myself it's not contractions.  lol

And on a really annoying note (but I think my hormones are getting the best of me), I had to reschedule my dr's appt today b/c DH got sent to Blair (a little boonie town to the far north of Omaha) and he won't be able to get back in time to take me to my appt (our car broke down last Thursday and we currently have no $$ to fix it).  Hopefully, he'll be able to take me tomorrow at my rescheduled time ...if not, I'm gonna walk my happy *** to the DRs!

Avanaar -  I don't wanna freak you out any, and this could have just happened to me, but with both my daughter and my son, two days before I had each other, they turned lop sided..  Like the left side of my stomach was small, and they had their shoulder butt leggs and everything sticking out of my right side.  Oh I wish I had taken a picture to show you what I mean, but they were getting ready for labor.  

NOT SAYING YOU'LL GO EARLY...  lol  but your right there where I was with both kids...hehehe...

Anywho, my mucous plus looked like, sticky gooey cm, with some blood, but ton's of it!  Best way to describe it is, if you crack an egg, the egg white part, that's what it looks like...But more sticky...  But I lost those the day before labor, for me that is.

Hehehe keep me posted on what your doctor says!  You could have lost your plug, and could still be 3 weeks till baby is born!

It's funny ...sometimes I feel huge (especially in those instances where I have to get up off the bed or couch, or pick something up off the floor), but then I look at other women who are 8 months preggo and I'm like, "What's wrong with me?!  I'm so small!"  lol  

I actually had one of DH's coworkers tell me I don't look huge like he thought I would.  Let's hope that will save me from the comments from strangers: "OMG, you're huge!  You're gonna pop that baby out any day now!"

Yeah, I guesstimate my weeks too.. I really have no clue.. I am due 1/18/09.. I would say I am 7 months pregnant, but my Dr. says I am 8.. Whatever.. I am due in January.. = D


And I am as big as a house.. Thats all I know for sure..

By my Dr's wheel chart, I'm 34 weeks (I used an online one that puts me at 33 lol).  Either way, my little man still has some baking to do.  He needs to stick around a few more weeks in there!  =D

I would try and wait it out, especially if the bleeding seems to be subsiding rather than increasing.. It's soo scary tho!!

I thought that too ... but have no idea what to "look for" when it comes to mucus plugs.  And I've been rather 'mucusy' down there anyway!  lol  I don't know if it's supposed to be like a big booger, or what!  lol  I know it can be different each time, so when I see my Dr today, I'm going to ask her about that possibility too.

**Just an update**
The bleeding has become more pinkish and not quite as much ...well, it doesn't seem as much, but it's still hard to tell with all my CM down there.  >.>  During the night I was feeling some mild crampy pains in my upper abdomen, but nothing that made me think, "OMG, those are contractions!  Quick, to the hospital!!"  We'll see what my Dr says this afternoon tho.  =D  

All the while, little Jaiden has been swirling and poking at a rib or two.  Last night laying in bed before I went to sleep, I rolled onto my back and you could completely tell where he was hanging out.  The right side of my stomach was 'distorted' and crooked.  =D  I poked him and he squiggled a bit and it evened my stomach out.  =D

lol...oh i've been doing the same lmao...it was irritating me ahaha!  Hubby didn't understand and still doesn't.  Oh well.  =)  I told him when he grows a vagina he'll understand and I got a funny look!

Hah, I've been wearing panty liners for a few months now ... I was tired of 'wetting' my undies with my excess CM.  >.>  

So, panty liner monitoring ...Check!

I'd wait.  Obviously no sex until then, but wear pads, so you can monitor if your still bleeding.  Well, panty liners if it's not a lot.  Because they will ask!  But just wait till tomorrow!
