Cramping

So I recently found out I was pregnant this last saturday due to a visit to the ER for some serious cramps. The doctor told me I had a bladder infection (which ive always been prone to since i was a child) and that surprise! Im pregnant. Well, I'm 6 weeks today and while the cramping has significantly decreased it still hurts like a 10 when they come. Ive had a follow up appt and i got to see the baby but no heartbeat yet. Is it still too early? Are these cramps normal? This is my first pregnancy so really any advice as to what is going on would be great! (:

I had cramps and sometimes still do. It's your stomach stretching.

I was having cramping so bad that I couldnt do anything but curl in a ball and cry. When I asked my mom she said the baby is attaching itself to the uterus. When I had my first appointment my baby dr told me that its fine as long as theres no bright red blood(a small amout of dark blood is okay). He just told me to keep telling him how the cramps are doing. They went way after about 10ish weeks or me. Please remember, every pregnancy and dr are different so its best to see what your dr says. I hope this helped, just remember the less stress the better:)
