Dead cat found in our yard :(

My fiancé, his best friend, and I literally just moved into our 3 bedroom home (renting) and we brought my fiancés dog and his best friends dog with us. His best friends dog (although sweet) already seems to be causing problems. She dug holes all over our yard and now I get off work and come home to a dead cat in the yard :( my fiancé doesn't get off work for another hour and a half before I can pick him up....should I just leave the cat there? I don't know if we even have a shovel to bury it. I don't want to accuse his dog of killing it if my fiancés dog had any part of it too.

I wouldn't go near the dead cat since you're pregnant..just to be safe! Wait for your bf

It's ok I just couldn't find anything online about it :( I'll look and see if we have a shovel. I have a feeling this will result in a roommate discussion again about his dog, because I don't want to constantly be finding dead animals in the yard.

I definitely wouldn't leave it in the yard. If it was someone's cat, or even a stray, and someone sees it laying there dead, one if not both dogs could be reported as viscous and you could have big problems. ):

I would be more concerned with the dead cat in the yard if you think his dog is killing animals you definitely don't want it around children. Do you know if it's someone's cat? Does it have a collar or have you seen anyone around with cats? If it were my cat though I'd want someone to let me know it had died, regardless of how it died, just so I'm not looking for it and my kids aren't depressed thinking it would come back you know? Tell them you think you saw it get hit.

It looks like it was a stray that was wandering our area that we saw a few days ago....I shut the dogs in the garage and I'm at my fiancés job waiting for him to get off work so we can take care of it when we get back home...

Awe, just talk to him, I'm sure he'll understand you can't have that around a newborn

Different friend who is a cat lover lol.... But she doesn't want to visit us if this keeps happening. Haven't even lived here a week....
