Joon is cute, I also like the name Cid, Joe and I have a friend named Syd short for Sydney, I like either spelling.
Im right with you, I too like different names....My new fav is ...Axel
I like the way you spell Joon, but I think it might be alittle femenine, SORRY! But I did go to school with a kid name joon and they called him Joon-bug......
Oh that's a good point, Joon-bug, not a fun name for a boy.
My niece goes to school with twins named Axsel (Axel) and Ziggy named after Ziggy Marley and Axel Rose, I think it is so cool.
Aw don't be sorry, I'm asking for opinions!!
Was joon-Bug a boy? I don't like the potential for someone calling him joon-bug :/
Yes, he was a boy. I dont think he mind being call it, but you know.
I had an Uncle named Joon. We called him Joon Bug sometimes. I thought it was just a Mississippi thing but guess not LOL.
I think its nice. So would it be with an e... Joone. I'm sure you'll have the perfect name :)
I went to school with a boy named Joon, and many of the other boys would call him "April" and "Summer", just to pick on him. When he hit high school he changed schools and started going by his middle name.
It's a nice name, but people can be brutal. I just felt bad for him, he was a nice guy.
I like Joon, and I like keepurfaith's suggestion of adding an "e"... makes it look more masculine, to me anyway.
Finley is really cute, too, it's on our list (although I think we've decided against it...)
I think Joon will be out. I don't want him being made fun of because of his name.
Finley is deffinitely on the top of the list for now, but I'm still not sure, maybe cause I can't think of any middle names that go with it.
So, how is Cid? I don't like Sydney because that to me sounds like a girls name, but I like Cid, just plain Cid...???
I agree that Sydney is girly but Syd or Cid is a very cute name.
I think its too hard to find boys names for me. There's a million girls names that I love, but not boys! :(
Any weird name suggestions are welcome.
It really is hard to find unique names, especailly for boys
Here are some I like, don't know how unique they are though
Keagan
Addison
Everette
My sister is naming her baby Griffin, that is different.
Quinten is a latin name
Shay
Beau
If I think of more I will post them
Quinten I've never heard of and it does not sound like at latin name, maybe Italian but deffinitely not spanish.
Its soo hard, and I'm getting frustrated over anything lately. :(
Hmmm, I tried Shay but dh doesn't like it.
hey, i really like finley too! i wanted to name our boy flynn, which is close to finley so no wonder i like it. but flynn is another unique name you might like too.
I looked online for unique baby names and it said it was a latin name, I didn't think it sounded like one either. Maybe it meant derived from the latin language lol.
I know a Quinten and most people just call him Q, which I think is a cute nickname.
Probably, maybe Latin like real latin from 2000 years ago ;) Not Spanish-Latin
I couldnt imagine my family trying to pronounce that, deffinitely a tongue twister in Spanish.
finley is deffinitely winning but I don't want to give up yet. For some reason I'm not convinced. What goes with Finley anyway?
I love unusual names, too, but DH doesn't like to go *too* unusual...
These are names he rejected that I love, lol:
Malachi
Kobe or Tobe
Makai
Miles
Finley or Finn
Griffin
Keegan (boy or girl?)
Well here's an example of what I think are unusual names that I like that my husband doesn't want for one reason or another:
Soren
Jair (pronopunced Jah-eer)
Kai
Tiago
Tanis
Caetano
I'm not kidding when I say unusual...And also in Spanish.
I like Finley but I'm not sure on a middle name...When you get the right combo you'll know it!
Reminds me of the movie Benny & Joon (Johnny Depp and Mary Masterson).
You KNOW my first vote is for Finley, but did I tell you Kai was on my list too? Ken rejected both.. He isn't as "adventurous" with names.. I think if you go with Finley for a first name, you need something with NO "ee" sound in the middle name.. Like..
Finley Broderick
Finley Mason
Finley Jameson <~~ I really like how that sounds..
Just some ideas! =)
Good suggestions by LauraB!
I like Marcelo and Joon, have you thought about Jun as an alternitive spelling?
