And if your not bleeding and having pains they will give you a stitch
12weeks/3months they can't do anything until 24weeks steroid shots would be given at 24weeks its way to early to even give medication so if you do have your baby the babys gonna be really small but you will delieve it wish you all the best and just try and relax and rest as much as possible
Yes sadly it can cause you to have a miscarriage I don't understand why your doctor would wait to do anything and not put you on bed rest on top of everything
Did they say 3 cm dilated or 3 cm in length?
Alright thank you n I will
I don't know , just relax and whatever is meant to happen will happen .
Be sure to ask your doctor and if you think your doctor doesn't really care as much you can always see another doctor , just don't stay quiet ask a much questions as you can . Good luck and update us when you can
Yea can this cause miscarriage
I am surprised she didn't say anything . My doctor said if they see any change in my cervix I will have to go straight to the hospital for them to close it up (down there) so I won't deliver early .
Yea I just got a ultrasound that day n she just checked for everything she really didn't say much but I had a good baby but my girlfriend had a dream that I had my baby early she say I was only 6 months
(Joanie8858) , i will tell you from my experience I am high risk because of previous miscarriges and preterm delivery , I am now 19 weeks pregnant and my doctor started checking my cervix from 16 weeks , they will be checking every 2 weeks until 36 weeks . So that's one way they can detect it early in pregnancy .
(Me and my baby2015) I wish You the best if luck and please rest as much as you can .
Sometimes they also put a stich in to keep the cervix closed make sure your doctor goes over all your options and please keep us updated
Ive always wonder how people this early on in pregnancy know that their dialated? Dont they have to check down thete? And what made them check? Sorry might be stupid question, and I do wish you the best for you and your baby, just very curious
Thank you Imy next appt on the 9th so I'll make sure I say something
You should be on bed rest to slow labor down from happening they might give you steroid shots to slow it down as well good luck mama
