Do I need to...

Do I need to go to the doctor as soon as 5weeks and 1day? I just took 2 pee test today.....BOTH positive. My husband and I are really excited, but neither of us have ever had kids and don't know much. How do I even know of the egg has implanted or not, I took a prenatal vitamin as soon as the test came back postivive. I have to admit.... i am scarred, nervous and feeling EXTREMELY tired.... and hungry not that i think about it. Any who.... my question is how soon into your pregnancy do you need to go to the doctor.

My doctor doesn't see patients until 12 weeks.  Some will do it earlier, and may want you to cone in to confirm the pregnancy, just call around and start asking!

Well, if you have to wait a month, it probably won't be a huge deal. When I found out I was pregnant I went right to the dollar store for prenatals, so you could do that :)

if you have a "free clinic" or a low cost clinic, go there to get it confirmed then you can get proof that you are pregnant and to make an appt with your ob for when the insurance kicks in. just make sure u eat what you are allowed to and take a prenatal vitamin daily.

You have to call the hospital you want to go to and tell them you took at home tests and they came back positive and then they will get you in to confirm the pregnancy and give you prenatals :)
