Doctor?

Not a question but my dr office doesnt seem real active with communicating with me I ask them questions and they don't really explain or answer thy just say we will look into it. And when they take my blood pressure and weight they don't tell me what it is they just write it down and say okay and put me in a different waiting room. This conserns me I have questions that I want  to be answered but they just don't. What should I do?

Oh wow. Well you can try and request to be seen by ur Dr. In my last pregnancy I got seen by my Dr only a few times and the nurse practitianer the rest. But this pregnancy I am supper high risk so my Dr won't let anyone else see ne unless he is on a call for delivery or doing a c section but he put on my paper work that I have to be seen by him unless he is not in the office. So I say request the Dr to see you

Oh my I would still try and find a new dr. That seems pretty odd. But I would express your concerns to them at your next appt. My dr office always tells me what my weight and b/p is automatically. And I always see my dr as he is the only one in the office.

If your doctor is not willing to cooperate with you then that is not the doctor for you. You're in a time period that let's face it, puts every woman in a sense of anxiety, paranoia etc and your doctor is supposed to be there to talk to you so that you can understand things better, especially when you are in his or her examination room. That is your time, time to make the most of everything and ask all you need to ask. If you do not get this, you shouldn't have to pay for the lack of services. I'd talk to your friends, look around your area and see if anyone can recommend an obgyn that will truly care about not only the baby, but what is going on with mom as well. If you were in the grand prairie Texas area I'd recommend mine to you. He always makes sure that everyone involved is doing alright, even my first born whom he also delivered. Every woman needs a doctor that's as caring as he is.

Don't be affraid to ask its you and your baby so they need to understand u want more info. If they don't answer then Yeah u need to get another Dr
