Oh my baby since he was born he ate about 3oz he was in the nicu and every time I'd pump breast milk I'd take it to him so he'd eat and every time I would go see him the nurses would tell me he's a good eater sometimes he'd finish the breast milk and they had to give him formula they'd always record how much he ate he was only days old and was in there for the first week of his life and would eat 80 to 100mL

Dont worry hell let you know if hes not getting enough to eat! In the first few weeks their tummys are marble sized and fill up very quickly, breast milk is also easier to digest making feedings more frequent, try not to panic, when hes hungry hell make sure your well aware! Signs you can watch for are hand to mouth movements, opening/closing mouth, kicking and fidgeting, or reaching for your breasts are all ways they're trying to tell us their hungry, most people dont know crying is a last resort

If its ongoing and your worried dont be afraid to call and ask the doctor, other than that i see it to be normal. You cant force the baby to eat if they dont want to !
