What should I expect at my first appointment? Am I going to get an ultrasound?

Okay Thanks. Are the prenatal pills huge? Because I really hate taking pills. I wish they had a liquid I could take by mouth
The vaginal ultrasound is uncomfortable and has a bit of pressure but not as bad as it sounds. I have had it done three times. It also really depends on the tech. If you tell the tech your sensative down there they tend to be gentler. So I suggest mentioning it.
Does the Vaginal Ultrasound hurt at all?
You will probably get an ultrasound to determine your due date. Depending on how far along you are, it might be a vaginal ultrasound, so be prepared for that (the wand has to go into your vagina to get a good image). You will also do a family medical history and possibly have blood drawn.
