I LOVE the name Alexia for a girl. Its so cute and girlish or if she dont want to be called alexia than like you said she would like Alex or Al I love it!
My son's name is Aydan I dont think it really fits a girl quite as much! But in the end its up to the two of you... But Alexia is def. girly go with Alexia !!!! too cute congrats on the girl!!!
I like Alex.
I had a friend in high school who's sister was named Alexis...
just a thought :)
Some people don't know how to pronounce the last name. Its Tib-i-doh
Thee-yuh. Her name would probably be Thea Rose Thibodeau. Haha...I know the last name is weird..but hey, it is what it is and I love the man it belongs to so I would take it gladly. We couldn't agree on ANY names. I suggested Jocelyn and he said he liked it, but that was IT...nothing else..no other girls, no boys. So we said if it was a girl it would be Jocelyn Rose, but I miscarried. Then he randomly called me a few months later and asked me what I thought of the name Thea. I was like aw honey its perfect! He's all proud of himself for coming up with it and since I really do like it, I agreed to name our future daughter it.
I found the meaning! It means Goddess...PERFECT :)
I love the name Thea... how are you pronouncing it? Thee-yuh or tay-uh?
And I know a girl named Jocelyn and she is one of the most gorgeous girls I know, with a beautiful singing voice to match. Love that name!
I just went to get the meaning of the names we want. Jocelyn means Playful...but my boyfriend came up with a name that would go good with our name...and I love it, but I can't find the meaning. If you find it, can you let me know? The name is Thea.
I like Alexia. I wanted to name my daughter that all along, but my boyfriend didn't like it much. I was always going to call her Lexie though. But I think alex is cute for a girl too. I would also be hesitant to name a baby after red hair lol
How about you name her Alexia Aiden?
I like the name Keira but it means "dark-haired" and so we never named one of our girls that. They both have auburn hair (reddish-brown). So I can understand your hesitancy to name her something that means "red hair".
hmm.. I dont think she'll have red hair.. hmm..
I dont know I like them both!!!
i like Alexia i have a baby names book in my hand right now and according to it Alexia means the helper of man kind and Aiden little fire A girl with bright red hair
i think i like Alexia/Alex better!
Aidan
