This friend found out she's pregnant and went off!!
So I have a mutual friend who just found out she's pregnant right.
Her and her boyfriend live with her mom because they got evicted for not being able to pay rent and find a place on time.
Anyways, she found out, posted it on Facebook and then she started saying "my baby is a miracle doctors told me I couldn't have kids my baby is going to have the best doctors and my baby will have everything it needs . Unlike other lameasses who rely on the government for Acchs or wic "

She really pissed me off because I've known her and her siblings since they were little and they grew up in the projects -_- like really , u forgot where u coming from ?

Smh. Ppl shouldn't down others BC theyr getting assistance from the govt or wic anything. Its there to help! I'm getting snap wic and govt assistance And I'm not lazy I have my third interview tmrw! I'm blessed that I'm getting help but I don't plan on being on it forever.
I don't know who you are talking about. But she says she won't need that help. She sure doesn't mind using her mama's help

What is wic? Is it American? I live in Canada and haven't heard of it; but I'm sure I'd take advantage if I qualified!
I definately feel your pain! Im on wic & have no shame! I work & pay bills! Money is tight not to mention with what I get paid I can only afford so much since we have to prepare for the baby. Some people are just ignorant to what is happening around them or their past. I bet she wasnt to good for those food stamps when she was eating as a kid or that reduced rent so her mom could make ends meet. It gets me mad to know that people who know the struggle look down at others living it! Just cause you moved on & currently don't use it doesn't mean you won't need it again! Ugh ignorance is bliss! I totally agree with u!

I'm on AHCCCS an W.I.C an that doesn't mean I'm not going to take care of my baby any less or not be able to buy him the things he wants an needs.. that really pisses me off that some people think they're so better then other people... My husband is a hard worker an pays taxes like everyone else. So I figure why not take advantage of the things you can. So yea I went an applied for AHCCCS an W.I.C. an I really don't care what people say or think about it.. it just makes me mad when people are so quick to judge others just because they use that stuff.. an why not have that stuff, the government f u c k s us everyday so the way I see it is you might as well take advantage of what they have to offer.

I didn't qualify for acchs at first , found out it was 2000$ to deliver the baby at the hospital I love and we had the money ready to go.
I applied again and hey , it saved me 2000$

Wic is a program for women & children. Its used to buy milk, cheese, bread, cereal & fruits for pregnancy & after you get that & formula assistance. @jtrasky
Thank you! From the comments about having to pay to deliver the baby I assume this is just an American thing. You should all just come across the border to Canada to deliver! It's free here lol

I agree! We're providing future workErs! And yes, even with no supplementary health plan you can deliver fRee in a ward room, or pay $50 for a semi private room, or $250 for a private room. I will definitely not be taking free health care for granted now!
