Going to college and pregnant.

I know I'm early in the pregnancy (6 weeks) but this is something that has been on my mind lately now that I know for sure I'm pregnant. I go to a community college where I live and I have one semester left before I graduate with my associates in arts and certificate in graphic design, the only rising concern of mine now is (if I'm still pregnant by then and don't miscarry later during this first trimester) how I'm gonna manage to finish the school year. My said due date is APRIL 28TH and spring semester usually ends within the second week of MAY, so if I have my baby before the semester ends and before I can take the finals, I'll be out for weeks-month to recover so I'm gonna either fall behind before the semester ends or I'm not gonna be able to do the finals or finish the semester. So IDK what to do, or who to talk to on campus for additional help. Plus has anyone else here been pregnant while attending college? And what did u do or how did u get to finish the semester?

I just started college an my bby is due day day after skool ends bt if he kum early I will have to do my work in da hospital I only go 4 days a week so Imma stay in skool till baby gets here

You should talk to your teachers about it and where your due date will be around and that you will give them a heads up when u wont make it to school when in labor. And also have to think about your dr appointment if your a full time student
Or you could also talk to the councilers and see whats your best option. They could problaky put you in a study group or programs online so you wont be behind so those 2 would be the main ones i would talk to.
i started school also but i only have til october to finish so im just hanging in there.

I just had my first day back to college yesterday, I'm due in a month . I told all of my instructors that I will most likely be taking a week off when I have her, and they are all excusing me and letting me make up the work(except the in class assignments I can't).

I took a leave of absence ..I started yesterday my due date is 2 weeks away.. I think I need to relax and get ready for the baby to come instead of school . At first I was stressing so much about school but I was being selfish . I feel way better now that I took my leave of absence

I would go talk to the teachers and give them a heads up ! They should b able to help yu out since it will b neary the end of school

I would talk to your professors at the beginning of spring semester, they may let you take your finals early. Or, if there is an option to do online courses, you could consider that. I had my son in March and classes ended in May, so online worked great for me. I did homework in the hospital! Lol
