Green stool??

I'm kinda worried I have an infection...my stool is green, when when I wiped it's almost a greenish blue which doesn't make since, but I was thinking I had an amniocentesis awhile back which blue dye was injected into my sack and wondering if that's it...don't know what to think!

I drink blue slushies and it makes my poop that color. Also lucky charms lol it might be prenatal vitamins too but pay attention to what you're eating it could be that. Talk to your doctor but I wouldn't stress about it try to relax :-)

I asked my doctor about this! She said it was my prenatals, and the iron in them can give your stool a green tinge.

It could be a couple things. First the most obvious would be something green in color you may have ate. Second we usually think of healthy stool being brown but stool is actually green before its brown due to bile being in the small intestine and as the green stool passes thru the large intestine over time it turns Brown. So If your stool was green ir could mean that it just passed thru the intestine too quickly for it to turn Brown. Its happend to me many many times. Hope that answers your question!
