You know what I have to say to you and I mean this with my whole heart? You are going to be one heck of an excellent mother. You are already worried about taking care of your baby and doing the best you can!! It's going to be okay. Glad about the one pound gain and you will keep going.
I gained 60 pounds during pregnancy. LOL I do NOT recommend that. Some women (like me) gain too much weight. But it is okay. We are all doing the best we can.
Do you have nausea or anything?
I'm really sorry about your being stressed. And hormones do not help this! They can make it even worse. After the baby, you will want to tell your doctor about this because post partum can be a big deal and make your initial time with your new baby terrible verses the joy it is supposed to be.
Are you stressing about things in particular? Or you just have nervous energy? If they are things in particular, can any changes be made to reduce the stress? Don't fret too much over weight loss. While not ideal, your baby is probably getting what he/she needs. She is just taking it from you. :>((( Make sure to take a good vitamin daily and make every bite of food you take be healthy, nutritious and smart. drink milk (or almond milk or whatever you drink). A walk can life mood (any exercise can), keep a journal and look for triggers, see a therapist if you have access, practice breathing exercises, meditate if you can do it (I'm not great at that), try yoga. All are soothing things.
Again, sorry it is a rough time. hugs
