HOW MUCH DID YOU GAIN DURING PREGNANCY

OK IM 5"3 AND BEFORE I WAS PREGNANT I WEIGHED AROUND 102-105 LBS
I AM NOW 20 WKS AND WEIGH ABOUT 115 LBS. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS GOOD BUT AT MY LAST CHECK UP MY DOCTOR SAID I WAS AT THE TOP OF THE CHART AND I NEED TO SLOW IT DOWN GAINING WEIGHT
ITS NOT LIKE I EAT ALL THE TIME I ONLY EAT WHEN IM HUNGRY AND NOT TO MENTION IM JUST NOW ABLE TO ACTUALLY KEEP ANYTHING DOWN.
ONE OF MY FRIENDS MOMS IS A NUTRITIONIST AND SHE SAID I WAS UNDER WEIGHT TO BEGIN WITH SO I SHOULD GAIN A LIL BIT MORE THAN USUAL
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY FIRST PREGNANCY I STARTED OFF AT 105 AND THE DAY I HAD MY SON I WAS 152 LBS AND LIKE A WEEK AFTER I HAD HIM I WAS BACK TO MY NORMAL WEIGHT
IM NOT REALLY STRESSING HOW MUCH I GAIN NOR HOW MUCH I DONT GAIN IM JUST GONNA KEEP GOIN HOW I AM BECAUSE I FEEL IM DOING GOOD
BUT I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW MUCH EVERYONE ELSE GAINED DURING THEIR PREGNANCIES?

I think everybody is different depending at your starting weight. With my first I gained about 45 pounds, with second 30 and with this one 1 pound but I am only at 9 weeks. If you eat healthy and excercise you should be fine. Sometimes those charts aren't good because very woman and pregnancy is different. Those are just guidelines.

As of 33 weeks, 25 lbs or so.  most of it was gained between 20 and 28 weeks.

BTW, the food tracker on medhelp is a great way to get an idea if you're getting the right nutrients (enough protein, calcium etc) and what you can cut out that's not adding to your nutrient intake (since your doc says slow down).

41 with my first pregnancy, and 31 with my second.  I am 5'7" and was not exactly a small person when I started though (158 and 164 respectively).  I was so scared I would go over 200 pounds, but just made it under.  Now I wish I could see under 200 again, LOL!!  Oh well.

With my daughter I didn't gain any weight until 2 weeks before I went into labor... The last two weeks I gained about 25 pounds (most of it was water retention). I lost all the weight and some by the time my daughter was 1 month. It was hard but I did it. Right now I'm 13 weeks and I have gained 2 pounds so far.

I gained 43 with my first and have only gained 15 (I'm 39 weeks) with this one so far.  I eat well.  I just can't seem to gain weight.  Mind you I started out at 176 with this baby...so a tad overweight.  Baby is very healthy.  Doc has zero concerns.

At prepreg I was anywhere from 165-170, Currently I'm about 175 so around  a 5 lb weight gain at 18 weeks. However, I struggle to gain weight. I eat practically whatever I want for some reason (idk why, but I do) . With my son it was struggling to get past HG, now it's just struggling to remember to eat 3 meals a day, lol.

I was at 117 the day I found out I got pregnant and 163 the night before I delivered (46 lbs gained overall). By 2 weeks I has lost 30lbs and by the end of 3 months I was back to normal. My little guy was just a hair under 9lbs when he was born. I thought I had gained too much personally but I ate good and exercised 4 times a week up until my last week so I don't think I could have done anything different to keep my weight lower. My little guy just needed the extra stuff to develop I guess. :)

With my son I gained 30 pounds. This time around I have already gained about 27 pounds and I am 30 weeks. You sound just fine for being 20 weeks. I didn't start gaining until my 18th week. Eat right like the other ladies said and everything will be okay.

Eat right and your body will do what it needs to do to nourish you and baby.  I ate right and exercised and I gained 40lbs.  I've heard the average should be 25-35lbs.  My ob wasn't concerned with my weight and told me the above advice about eating right and your body.

It does seem to me though like you are on the low side...

It sounds to me like, if anything, you are on the "low" end of gaining!

I have gained, 47, 40, 35 and about 32 respectively (my 4th is due in a week), and usually just about half of it was in the first half of my pregnancy. It sounds like you are doing fine!

There's nothing your doctor can do to you if you gain more than he wants. Keep eating healthy, normal portions and know that you're giving your baby proper nutrients.

I gained 50 lbs with my first daughter. Gained 24 lbs with my second daughter. And I'm currently at +21 lbs with my third daughter at almost 28 weeks. I expect I won't gain more than 25-30 lbs this time.
