Hate my dr

I work in the dairy department n lift crates of milk n heavy things. Also pull pallets of food. I told my doctor to put on lite duty n she said no n im 6 weeks. Is that okay? Could I lose my baby lifting 50 to 60 lbs n pulling 100 to 200 lbs?

Definitely get a new doctor. My doctor is awesome he sat there and listened to my fifteen minute meltdown the one day because I was terrified of a second miscarriage he told me he'd give me another ultrasound but also explained why it wouldn't prevent another mc. I think all doctors need to especially listen to their pregnant patients because we are at a more vulnerable time in our lives. I'd check out another doctor and if ur uncomfortable lifting the weight then don't do it

My comment isn't so much the weight (not sure about safe limits) but if you don't feel your doctor listens to you, do you want that doctor going through birth with you? Mine listens to me just enough - he pushes me when I need it and tells me to stop worrying when I realize I have been being paranoid, but never disregards my concerns completely.

You COULD be fine, but why leave it to chance?! Why risk it at all? I'd try another doctor for sure!!

I work in a deli and most of our stuff is 5 to 20 kg weight. Im 12 Weeks and my doctor put me on 5kg limit a couple days ago. Im the manager and am often there on my own at times. Im always worrying and stressing about it. But everythings been ok so far. So yeah I would just try and limit it if you can. I still lift the odd heavy thing. Its hard to remember not too. If your really worried see a diff doctor.

I work ay FedEx ground lifting boxes up to 210 Ibs. My doctor put me on the 35 Ibs weight limit but  about two weeks ago I found out where I the weight was on the boxes and I have been lifting atleast 80 Ibs daily. I'm now 14 weeks. You should be fine. Just try and limit your self or see if you can get help pulling the 100-200 pound boxes and next time you go back to your doctor tell her your not comfortable doing it. Or just switch doctors.
