No it's not so pretty when your head is constantly a toilet. I remember days I would ask my hubby to clean the floor real good and disinfect everything and I would just make a comfy nest of pillows and blankets on the floor and sleep in between sickness. Sometimes a warm bath helped calm my stomach. I felt like it would never end and that I was going to be sick the entire 9 months but thankfully it passed after 18 weeks and I've been enjoying it since.
Have any of you heard of something called hyper emesis gravedium I think that is how you spell it. Some women never have a chance to actually feel what a normal pregnancy is. Try to look it up if you can. My friend is the founder of the Hayden Rae foundation named after her daughter that passed away while she was battling for not only her life but also her unborn daughters life. If you would like a great support person for this there is no one better but her to talk to. She has a few support groups I know for sure on Facebook if you want to check it out.
Thanks ladies! I hope you all feel better, pregnancy is supposed to be a beautiful thing but it doesnt look so pretty when your heads in the toilet ;)
My morning sickness didn't pass til after 18 weeks. My doctor prescribed me meds for it. I lost 20 lbs. in 2 weeks and almost had to be hospitalized. Drink lots of gatorade to keep electrolytes and hydrated. My doctor wouldn't let me drink anything else except gatorade and try yogurt or a smoothie. They helped me alot. Mac n cheese was the only solid I could eat. Meat smelt awful and I would be sick.
Mines didn't start to cease until around 13wks so it all depends on your body....hope u feel better soon.
