Stretch marks advice please

Is almond oil or bio oil the best for preventing stretch marks? I've heard different things from different people and just wondered which is better. Also when should I start using it, I'm 14 weeks 5 days but barely showing at the minute

Thanks everyone I appreciate the advice :) I will try bio and coconut oil. Taybombmom you're so lucky haha, I know a few people who got no stretch marks throughout pregnancy so it must just be down to genetics. Good luck with your little ones everyone! :)

I agree with missshellyg. In my own experience, I have tried everything and used everything before I got stretch marks (bio oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, mederma for stretch marks, oil, etc) and nothing worked for me. Hopefully you get lucky and not have them!

It's down to genetics really! I use bio oil at night, it suggests twice daily from the start of your second trimester. I use coconut butter after my shower each morning and occasionally I use some moisture with vitamin E in it. I just used coconut butter in my first pregnancy and got tiny silver stretch marks after the birth. They aren't visible at all and haven't got any more so far and I'm 32 weeks tomorrow

Stretch marks are going to occur no matter what you use or how often, unless you are lucku enough to not get them, the best you can do is use coconut oil, bio oil, or even baby oil does the job, it rejuvenates your skin and helps the scars fade, I started using bio oil at about 18 weeks and have gone on to using baby oil to cut the cost and it does the same thing :) my stretch marks are there but would be worse if I didn't use anything

I've been using coconut oil, and I don't have any stretch marks so far. 39 + 1 :)

Nothing will prevent them, but I saw that Vitamin E oil helps A LOT to make them not so bad.
