Postpartum question: Is this normal?

I had my baby 3 weeks ago tomorrow. This week I've noticed that my back is hurting around where I got my epidural. It's really stiff off toward the right side and along with it, I have a warming feeling in one spot on my right leg. They had to stick me 3 times for an epidural. I remember feeling my back tense up tight with one of the pricks. My leg doesn't hurt. I don't have a numbness feeling in it or in my feet... Just the intensity of the warmth comes and goes. I have my 4 week check up next week. I don't know what it is. I've heard so many different things but was wondering if anyone else had this experience. I'll definitely bring it up to my doctor next week. I've had no fever or signs of any infection so far.

About a month after I had my epidural I remember having a really stiff feeling in my back and it hurt to move and turn but I don't recall a warm spot in my legs. It would be good to bring up just to make sure everything is ok.

I too had that feeling. I'm not sure what it was about but it did go away at about 3.5-4 weeks so I forgot to ask my OB when I saw him for my post partum checkup. If you have any signs of infection like fever or chills call and get an appointment for sooner. Otherwise I would mention it at your checkup. Congrats!
