Labor? Mucus plug?...opinions please!

Hi ladies...I'm 39 + 4 today. I went to the doctor on Monday and she poked through my cervix making me dialated to 1 cm and did a membrane sweep. All day today, I've had pain in my lower back and stomach...and getting what feels like contractions about 10 minutes apart but sometimes longer so they come and go. Then earlier I lost what I'm quite sure is the mucus plus. I know every pregnancy is different, but does anyone have similiar experiences and went into labor shortly after? Because I'm sooo ready to meet my little girl! And should I call my doctor tomorrow if I feel the same to get checked again? She said I could call or go in anytime but I don't know if I should...
