I'm having some difficulties.

I am 8 weeks and 4 days.
My family is excited my boyfriend is excited..everyone is excited.
I'm excited but I don't feel it I don't really feel anything.
I mean I know I'm pregnant I saw the ultrasound and heard the amazing heartbeat but still even hearing it I was flat faced no emotion just calm.
Why can't I feel excited and happy that I am pregnant? I've always wanted a child and I finally have one growing inside me and I feel absolutely nothing and I hate it.
What is wrong with me? Does anyone else feel this way?

I think too that there is a lot of pressure to bond with the baby before he/she is born and that isn't the reality for a lot of women.  Doesn't mean they aren't excited or won't be great mom's.  Once the baby is born, they begin to bond. So, don't feel bad if this is you.  :>)  good luck hon

Had the same problem here, but don't worry it's normal. It hit me when I started to feel my baby move, maybe you'll start getting excited when you start feeling your babys first kikcks :)

Haha it's just how it's so early and you don't feel any different you just have symptoms and know you're pregnant. I feel you. Lol. I felt that way too. Don't worry too much just give it time, it usually changes for everyone :)

I felt that way at the beginning too and had no idea why..  I was so emotional from like 6 weeks to 12 weeks..  it's not that I didn't want her it was just so overwhelming.  And honestly I don't think it 100% hit for me yet at that time. Even after seeing the ultrasound and hearing heart beat...  but now I'm 27 weeks and Oh my has it hit home lol. I think it just takes some time for it to sink in for some people!
