Hi, does anyone knows if a blood test (for me and my husband) to rule out chromosomal abnormalities would have detected translocation for me or him? Since my first baby had donw syndrome, and im currently 10weeks pregnant again... I dnt wanna go through the same thing again and as positive as i could be theres always that sad memory in the back of my mind... Any of u know? Im very scared the same thing would happen again. Thanks girls...
Yes that would be to the baby at around 16-18week but i meant about stdying my husband and my crhomosomes...
The only thing I know of (and there could be other tests) that would be accurate is having an amnio done. I'm not sure if a blood test would show or not.
