I always take hot showers, well they're not hot to me, but my husband seems to think they are. I'm not sweating or anything when I'm in there and baby is perfectly fine. I'm also not in there very long. I only almost passed out once and that was in early pregnancy and it was actually way toooo hot. Oops!

I take hot showers all the time:) I actually sit in the bath and let the water just pour over me while I relax... its pretty nice, I love it:) Hot baths make me feel sick/: so I've always been more into long hot showers while I sit and relax:) that way you dont have to worry about falling or passing out from the heat, as I see some people seem to have had a problem with.. and you can always adjust the heat then and there if you start to feel woozy, which you cant do with a hot bath. Just throwing it out there:) The way I sit is criss cross with my back towards the back side of the tub and I face the curtains.. Often times I lean forward and rest my head in my arms on the side of the tub while the water rushes over me:) Shower time has always been my favorite time to relax, pregnant or not pregnant:)

Baths are fine because they cool off as you soak

You can take warm baths! You can take warm showers as long as its not to hot where it turns your skin red, or if you start feeling over heated because it raises the babys temp and thats not good.

I take hot baths almost everyday cuz my tub has jets and it relaxes me just not too hot and u will know if it is. You will get dizzy and faint and start seeing spots. Just no hot tub hot water.

Idk what it is but I have to take hot showers...I use to be in a house that believes the outside and inside should match for coldness or the inside should be a 20 degrees colder than outside so I had to get warm or at least hot from the showers. I can't stop taking them...I'm so use to being frozen that the showers feel really good.

Its because it can raise the babys temp.

My ob told me baths are actually fine as long as they are not really hot..she actually told me to take baths to relax my muscles so I'm sure a hot shower is fine the water isn't going inside you...like with hot tubs or over hot baths

You just can't raise your internal body temp over I think 101. So a hot shower should be fine as long as it's fairly short and you cool down soon after.

You're suppose to avoid hot water,  whether it's a shower or bath.
