Correction....I just did some research..do not come into contact with the dead mice their droppings or any surfaces the mice have come in contact with. U can contact a disease called lvcm which is dangerous to an unborn baby. Have a non pregnant person dispose of the mice and their droppings and clean infected areas with bleach to kill the virus. Also winterize ur home to keep them out and call in an exterminator. Also notify ur ob u have had contact with rodents so they can monitor things. Good luck
Also use a mask if u have to clean it up but if possible have someone else do it.

I would use gloves while doing this if you have to do it. But if would be better to have someone else empty the traps if at all possible. If no one else can do it, it's better to have them cleaned up then to leave them there.
