please help,going mad

ttc,stopped taking bcp about 8 weeks ago,since then i have had constant bleeding.i only had about a 5 day break in 8 weeks.i taught yesterday it was going to stop as it got lighter,but today its worse than ever.it is so heavy i cant wear tampons,the blood is flowing right through as if iv no tampon in.so i tryed pads and with in 10 mins its coming out the sides. i have had to use alot of tissue rolled up,i know this sounds horrible but it gives me abit more time..what is this and what can i do? anyone plz ;)

OH, and BTW...I don't think that means you can't get pregnant. I think it just means it will stop your constant bleeding.

You're welcome. Did you tell your dr you want to ttc? If you did and he told you to go back on the pill then I'd get a second opinion. If he knows you're ttc and wants you to go back on the pill he's got a few screws loose. He should know you can't ttc on the pill.

well my doc said i should go back on the pill and everything will return to normal.but how can i do that if we are ttc.and because im constantly bleeding,does that mean i cant get pregnant??? thanks for the reply :)

You should probably see a doctor if you are bleeding that much. If you really are filling a pad in ten minutes, I don't think that's good. The only time I ever bled that much I was thankfully at the hospital already for my son's weight check right after I had him and I had a pelvic exam done, they almost admitted me. So you really should see the doctor, you may be anemic since you're losing so much blood...keep us posted on how you're doing.
