My midwife said it was safe both to take orally and vaginaly. She said stick it up as far as u can before bed time. Wait until your at least 38 weeks.

I have never used it, as I am ftm and not even close to having my baby. But I have read other moms on here telling how they use it. Some moms take 1000mg orally, while other moms take it 1000mg orally, and insert 1000mg vaginally near the cervix. They recommend wearing a pantyliner, or a pad. As when inserting it vaginally, it does leak and can make a mess. Hope this helps. I plan On doing it closer to my due date, to prepare me for the big day!
