I'm 38 weeks and I'm getting induced next week if she doesn't come any day now.
States and countries have different standards.

I just got scheduled for Friday,I'll be 40 weeks. His reasoning is because I live so far from the hospital and I have a fast labor history. My little girl is so low he can't even get into my cervix, it really is in my best interest to just be in the hospital.

I was at the hospital today and the nurse said that doctor have to wait until 41 weeks to induce a woman unless medically necessary. They said that women used to be able to come in at 38 weeks and ask to be induced but now they don't allow that anymore.
