anemia. scared. please answer.

did anyone else not know they were anemic for a long period of time? How did it affect your baby??? Scared. Please answer.
I'm so worried about oxygen deprivation and brain damage to my baby

Well in my case I am iron deficiency anemic. Plus I  just had my iron drawn a low of a 6. Plus I have the sickle trait!Which I knew I had iron problems before being pregnant but not about the sickle. So I have two to deal with! Making matters worse I crave for ice all the time! But since I can't sallow pills, my doctor had to ordered me iron in the liquid from. But my daughter is perfectly healthy. Oh yeah and I have Rh positive blood while my boyfriend has Rh negative blood. So I am under a high watch even though they say she is healthy!

I'm severely anemic and have always been that way. It gets worse with pregnancy but I've already had two healthy babies and they don't have any anemia at all and I'm fixing to have my third in less than 2 weeks

I was slightly anemic evening was pregnant with my son and I just upped my iron intake. He was perfectly healthy at 7 lbs 12 oz and is now 3 years old

Just found out I was a little anemic about two weeks ago. My doctor told me my iron level was low but not too low that it bothered her. I got better prenatal vitamins that contain iron, took iron pills, and started eating foods with iron and I am okay.

I had anemia during my pregnancy i had my baby last Thursday and she is perfectly fine and healthy, I'm still anemic now but I'm taking my pills every day to help with it
