I REALLY NEED TO KNOW.....

Is 38 weeks to early to get induced???

Your due date is only estimated and full term is actually 39w now because the brain is still developing until 38w. My doctor will not induce (unless medically necessary) until 42w. When you get induced you also have a higher chance for cesarean.

Depends on your doctor and hospital. Most wont induce at 38 weeks without a medical reason some wont induce until you are late and some may let you choose to induce. Ask your doctor we dont know shat their policies are

I got induced at 39 no medical reason my doc asked and I was ready

They will only induce you at 38 weeks if its needed. My daughter was born at 38 weeks exact cause I had pre-eclampsia and even then the nurses at the hospital were throwing a fit because I was not "full" term but my Dr did not want to wait cause he was worried it would get worse.

With my son I got induced at 37 weeks because his stomach was not growing I was 37 weeks and his stomach was measuring at 30 weeks. He came out fine he's nice and healthy

39 weeks is now full term

Yeah.. you have to have a good reason. My dr didnt induce until 41 weeks

Depends on baby's size, if you're wanting to be induced because you're having trouble carrying longer, etc. They won't usually do it just cuz you're impatient. But 37 weeks is considered a full term baby, so
