I could really use some advise?

Hi there ladies...hope you all are doing good today?

I have a bit of a dilema and I could really use some solid advise...

I am currently 5w3d pregnant and yesterday my husband told me he was given an opportunity to go to Italy to play rugby for 8 months. If he decides to go he will miss everything, including the birth of our first baby?! This isnt the first time he went away for rugby, the last time he went away was for 6 months and that was before we were married (we are married now for 5 months). But this time it is different? I will never keep him from what he loves, I married him the way he is now.

Any advise?

Thanx ladies

he shouldn't want to leave you ?? is he considering it? cause thats not worth missing the birth of your first child he should stay here and support you during this. and in no way should you feel bad for wanting him here

Does he do that as his job? Does he play professionally? If he does would he be allowed to go for maybe 3-5 months and then come back so he could be here for the last few months and the birth of the baby? And don't feel like you're being mean or not supporting him BC you want him here.. its normal :) sounds like you're an awesome wife who is very supportive of her husband and what he likes.
